1. Who we are

This policy explains how the SMS Network mobile app (package com.sms.network, "the app") handles your information. The app is the customer app of SMS Network, an internet service provider ("we", "us"), and is built and published by Codonyx on our behalf.

The app is for existing SMS Network customers. It lets you view your connection, check and pay bills, raise support tickets, run network tests and manage your profile.

We do not read, store or send your GPS position. The app still works if you decline; the Wi‑Fi details then show as unavailable.
Photos (when you tap "Change")The system photo picker lets you select one image for your profile or a ticket. The app only receives the image you pick.

We do not sell your personal information, and the app contains no advertising and no third‑party analytics or tracking tools.

5. Services the app connects to

SMS Network serversYour account, billing, tickets and profile are stored and processed on our servers, reached over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
Payment gateways (bKash, SSLCommerz, PayStation)When you pay a bill, you are taken to the gateway's secure page. Card and wallet details are entered there and are handled by the gateway under its own privacy policy. The app never sees or stores them.
Cloudflare (speed.cloudflare.com)Speed tests download and upload test data. Cloudflare sees your IP address, as any website would.
IP lookup services (ip-api.com, ipwho.is)The Network Diagnosis screen asks these services which internet provider your public IP address belongs to. Your IP address is sent as part of that request.
Aladhan (api.aladhan.com)Prayer times are fetched for the city shown on the Prayer times screen.
Netflix (netflix.com)The Entertainment tile opens netflix.com in an in‑app browser. Anything you do there is governed by Netflix's privacy policy.
Phone and WhatsApp"Call" and "WhatsApp" hand over to your phone's dialer or WhatsApp. They start only when you tap them.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your account and billing records for as long as you are a customer and afterwards for as long as needed for accounting, legal and dispute purposes. Information kept only on your phone is removed when you log out or uninstall the app.

The app is for account holders aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with its effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app.
